Great service, Delicious food. Large wine selections. Inexpensive. Huge spot, patio seating.
The beach is 1 block away, you can't go wrong.
Definitely in my favorite's bucket.
We ordered a pizza and they forgot the sauce and toppings! We called Leucadia Pizza, but they said they couldn’t do anything since we had ordered through UberEats (even though Leucadia Pizza made the mistake). Sadly, we will not be ordering again.
We really liked the dog friendly covered patio here. The patio has a good view of the traffic along highway 101 and Encinitas Blvd, and has a little bit of ocean view too.
We all liked the cheesy garlic bread, it was 4 slices and a huge amount of marinara for dipping. The lunch special was very cheap, and despite definitely being a smaller portion I didn't leave feeling dissatisfied or anything. I will say, having had their food at several locations over the years, Leucadia certainly isn't fine dining. The price is fine for what you get, but it's always seemed a big greasy. For both pizza and pasta there's certainly better places, but it's not like I'm unhappy we went here either.
I did appreciate how huge the parking lot is, and there were tons of families with kids, so this is definitely a good place for a low stress, low-key lunch.
This restaurant is really cool. The pizza is super delicious. The problem was I ordered a chicken BBQ pizza and ask three times please No onions. The pizza had onions and ruined it. I told her and she didn't ask to replace it. She said That she told him. Any way I ordered a pineapple and ham for the wife and a pepperoni for the son and ate that. Those pizzas were delicious! I would recommend but be careful what you ask for.
The food was very good. I had lasagna. Wasn't told garlic bread come with meal. But is included with meal prices 🤔 not good service this time. Otherwise great restaurant.
Will not be going back. They put sugar in everything. Food was so-so, both pizza crust & bread were both weirdly sweet which we didn't care for. (Most pizza restaurants use the same dough for their bread & pizza so no surprise there.) Not really Italian, very blah. Calamari was heavily breaded & super large, maybe 3 inch diameter. Nothing wrong w/ being large, I'm just describing it. Breading was also kind of sweet. People were super nice & gave really good service. Overall, food was okay, not horrible at all, but not great. If I were stuck at the train station & it was the only place open, I'd be fine with eating there.
I love this place. They have the best garlic bread, really good pizza dough and sauce, fantastic soups! And I always grab a salad. 1/2 is a perfect size and sometimes it's a little too much but it's always good. This is a great spot to eat in or take to the beach solo, with family & friends or my favorite, date night. This time I came for lunch and took pictures after we started, lol.
We try to get there a couple of times a month.
We've tried almost all their pizzas. They're all good, but we love their Pear/Gorgonzola/Arugula pizza.
We've also tried a cross section of salads. They are so generous, a half order of salad works well.
The service has always been good.
If you sit on the enclosed patio you can almost see moonlight beach. Sunsets with pizza are spectacular.
